Project Overview
As an extension of its award-winning Thrive brand campaign, Kaiser Permanente wanted to explore the role that music and sound design could play in amplifying its message of total health, improving the on-site patient experience, and inspiring members to adopt a healthy lifestyle.
What started with the simple question “What does our brand sound like?” grew into the Music Health Initiative, a first-of-its-kind, enterprise-wide program that includes sonic branding guidelines and tools for communicators, environmental sound design and noise mitigation for facilities, streaming music for patients, stress-reduction tools for care providers, and a host of other music and sound-based projects.
